reaction to the brief

part one is relatively easy.  or rather looks easy.  as it is mostly to with planning.  but the techniques such as lathe, chamfer, boolean - i've never heard  of it before, which i'm sure will become very clear wioth a little bit of 'googling' and lecturing.   

the second part is going to be alot more tougher, which is going to take alot of my time.

all in all it looks interesting.
